The exhibit was a great success. After months of preparing and imagining that at some point I would forget something extremely important, I was surprised to have managed to pull it off on my own. That's the point of the MFA thesis exhibit...professors expect you to do it all on your own. Find the space, market it, deal with the printing and framing on your own, hang the show, get the catering, etc. etc. All in all it was fun, but expensive!! Paying for show cards, exhibition catalogues, fine art printing paper and the gallery space is enough to break you. Luckily I chose to launch a kickstarter that helped pay for all my framing!!! Those lucky donors are going to receive limited edition prints and some will also receive the exhibition catalogues.
